Last week I finally indulged myself and bought my first pair of Wolford tights. It was so worth it, y’all! If you’d like to read my review, head on over to my blog post at hisblackdress.com where I talk all about it. What’s your go to brand for hosiery?
It actually took me a while to figure out what to pair with this skirt, since it’s got a lot of vibrant colors going on. Mrs. Spookshow suggested a white top, and I just happened to have this one that I wanted to show you guys, so that’s how that all came together. The tights are a light green, though I was hoping for just a little bit more color from them. Ah, well. I still really dig this look. What do you think?
I missed a few days there, guys. Sorry about that! At least I’m back now with a fun outfit though, huh? Forgive me?
Mrs. Spookshow & I are having an early Thanksgiving gathering with friends & family today, and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to finally wear this dress. Hopefully I’ll manage to be in more photos throughout today, include one with my friends Mr and Mrs. Claus! Yep, totally!
This is the hundredth outfit that I’ve posted, y’all. How cool is that? It’s so interesting to see how my style has evolved since my very first outfit post (link here). I’m looking forward to sharing another hundred outfits with you all! Oh, and this outfit is pretty rockin’, right?
Holy leg, Batman! I’m feeling really pretty today, and I’m really happy with how this look came together. Also, I think I love my hair today. Hurray for the prettys, right?

I received a lot of compliments on this outfit from my coworkers, though I did have one funny experience I want to share here. I was walking backstage with a friend while heading to the meeting. There’s always a lot of activity backstage, as I work for a major theme park, and while many of my fellow makeup department coworkers have been cool and supportive of me, that same sentiment doesn’t often extend to the myriad other departments on property. Anyways, as we were heading over to the meeting, there was a tech services guy driving a golf cart past us. As he drove up to us, I noticed him give me a very rude look and saw him mouth the words, “What the fuck?” and then I heard him say (rather loudly), “That’s fucked up!” He actually stopped as he passed us and just glared at me, very obviously. It’s not something I’m unused to, and I gave exactly zero fucks, but my friend turned to me and was like, “What just happened?” I laughed and said, “Yeah, welcome to walking next to a boy in a dress.” She gave me a quizzical yet sympathetic look and replied, “Yeah, I wasn’t sure that’s what that was. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn’t being a jerk but … wow.”
So this is totally a remix of a look from earlier this month, but hey, it was awesome and begging to be rocked again. How could I resist?

I’ve been interested in picking up a romper for a while now, and I liked the style of this one well enough, so I decided to give it a go. I don’t think I’m going to run out and fill my wardrobe with rompers, but this one is fun enough. What do you think, Tumblr?

This galaxy print dress is just outta this world, y’all (aww, *groan*), haha. I wore this one out to dinner on Saturday evening, but despite getting rained on and losing power in the restaurant in the middle of dinner, we still had a very time. There’s just something about having legs for days goin’ on that ensures a good time will be had by all, haha. Don’t you agree?

I picked up this super awesome limited edition dress over on DominoDollhouse.com, and couldn’t be happier! It’s really comfortable and looks killer. Mrs. Spookshow, our baby BAM, and myself are heading over to the beach for the weekend, so it seemed like the perf opportunity to rock this one out! Whatcha think, Tumblr?
Skirt: ASOS Curve
Discovered this top hidden in the depths of the closet, and got inspired to put this outfit together. My mom bought me these fishnet tights earlier this week, which I layered over black pantyhose here. I think the pattern mix between the top and tights actually works out pretty well, haha. I always have such a hard time sartorially this time of year, as I just don’t like summer styles, but I feel like this outfit is fun while still being fairly comfortable for the summer weather here. As always, be sure to check out my blog, HisBlackDress.com, for more about this look. What do you think of this one, Tumblr?
