I finally managed to resist pairing pink with blue in an OOTD! This outfit was inspired by Mindy Kaling from The Mindy Project, just because I love her and I feel like this is something she’d wear. What do you think, Tumblr?
I said in my last OOTD post that I’ve tended to shy away from floral prints, but then this happened, y’all! I feel super kawaii today, and I really love how everything is working together here. I’d previously worried about wearing a head accessory without hair, but I like being bald and I like this headband, so fuck it. My favorite thing about this outfit, besides how super cute it is, is the repeating theme of studs. I’ve got them on my headband, on my tights, and on my shoes. How fun is that?
Picked out this dress on a whim, and since it was basically free I couldn’t really lose. I had a lot of fun putting this look together, and I feel super cute. What do you think, Tumblr?
Michael Spookshow of HisBlackDress.com wears cute pink shit!
While I was writing up the post for my most recent OOTD, I couldn’t help but feel like I’d worn the outfit before on the blog. Disregarding common sense I only decided to check this after the post went live, and while I was wrong about having already shown it, I did, however, find quite a few fun pink outfits in my OOTD picture folder. I’m sharing some of my favorites with you here in this post, and if you’d like to see more of my looks please visit my full blog over at HisBlackDress.com!
Yeah, it’s anooother pink and blue outfit, y’all. I know, I know, but hey, it is the color scheme of the blog AND my favorite color combination. It’s also completely fabulous, so whateva. I’m gettin’s some serious 80s from this one (I think it’s those bright white contrasting heels), but I kinda love it. Ending the post with a question as usual to make it easier for y’all to comment, okay?
Last time I wore this dress on the blog I paired it with pastel pinks and blues, and while I decided to keep that color palette for this post, why not take it up a notch and go with hot fuckin’ pink (and blue)! It’s been a little while since I’ve posted here; the seasons have changed and now it’s back to being hot here in Florida. I’m really happy with how cool (temperature-wise, and otherwise) this outfit is while still being fun and stylish. I generally dislike a lot of the spring and summer clothes I see in stores, so these hot months are always a bit of a challenge for me. I’m pretty confident with this one, though, so I’ll say it … nailed it. Haha, amirite?
So, it’s been a little while. Sorry for that! I’ve been very hard at work on a cosplay project (which you can read all about here), and, well, time just kinda got away from me. But hey, I’m back now!
My original thought was that it would be fun to pair this red skirt with the blue heels, and by the time I added the white knee highs it became clear that I might as well go full on school uniform inspo! I think it’s super fun, though, hmm?
Last week I finally indulged myself and bought my first pair of Wolford tights. It was so worth it, y’all! If you’d like to read my review, head on over to my blog post at hisblackdress.com where I talk all about it. What’s your go to brand for hosiery?
Short blue plaid skirt, y’all. Yep. In this post I also give my review of these Spanx pantyhose, so head over and check that out if you are interested.
Daily outfit posts continue! Yesterday I made quite a few little visual changes over at the blog, just to clean it up a bit and make it look more sleek. Why not head over to www.hisblackdress.com and let me know what you think?
