So, it’s been a little while. Sorry for that! I’ve been very hard at work on a cosplay project (which you can read all about here), and, well, time just kinda got away from me. But hey, I’m back now!
My original thought was that it would be fun to pair this red skirt with the blue heels, and by the time I added the white knee highs it became clear that I might as well go full on school uniform inspo! I think it’s super fun, though, hmm?
While browsing Modcloth I discovered that this dress is on sale! It’s a fantastic dress and I thought some of my followers might appreciate knowing that it’s currently 20% off. Here’s the link. Keep rockin’! <3
Just in case you didn’t know, I also have a cosplay blog called Kigurumi For Villains, which is all about my animegao cosplay adventures. On the blog I’ll be talking all about the costumes that I’m working on, how they are made, and my convention experiences. I’ve just recently launched the blog, and I’m trying to grow the readership over there, so if that’s something that sounds interesting to you I’d really appreciate if you check it out and subscribe if you like it.
In the post linked above, I introduce my first cosplay project and talk a bit about how I plan to go about making it a reality.
Product links and more looks can be found over on my blog, HisBlackDress.com, so check that out!
It actually took me a while to figure out what to pair with this skirt, since it’s got a lot of vibrant colors going on. Mrs. Spookshow suggested a white top, and I just happened to have this one that I wanted to show you guys, so that’s how that all came together. The tights are a light green, though I was hoping for just a little bit more color from them. Ah, well. I still really dig this look. What do you think?
